The Bruggerhof Prags in Braies was a hidden gem that exceeded all expectations. From the warm welcome to the impeccable service, the Taschler family truly made us feel at home. The modern wood-style rooms were not only beautifully decorated but also equipped with everything one might need, including a fully stocked kitchenette - perfect for those who enjoy cooking their own meals and local produce. The farm-to-table experience was a delightful touch, with fresh eggs and milk provided every morning.The tranquil location, close to the Braies lake and Prato Piazza, offered a peaceful retreat from the bustling city life. We enjoyed the uninterrupted nights of deep sleep, thanks to the comfortable beds and complete silence and darkness. The breathtaking views of the mountains added to the overall charm of the place, making it a perfect starting point for hikes and bike trips. The host family's hospitality was exceptional. They went above and beyond to ensure our comfort, even dropping us off at the train station during our departure. Their kindness and genuine care made our stay truly unforgettable. The onsite amenities such as table tennis and the children's playground added to the overall experience.In conclusion, Bruggerhof Prags is not just a place to stay but a destination to experience the true essence of the Dolomites. The combination of modern comforts, sustainable practices, and warm hospitality make it a must-visit for anyone seeking a genuine and rejuvenating retreat in the Italian Alps.
